Step-by-step: Install using the Downloader short code 7725380

1) Confirm your device supports APK installs

Works on most:

• Amazon Fire TV / Firestick
• Android TV / Google TV boxes
• Chromecast with Google TV
• NVIDIA Shield
• Android phones/tablets

(Does not work on Apple TV / iPhone/iPad without different methods.)

A) Amazon Fire TV / Firestick

1) Enable installs from unknown sources

1. Go to Settings (gear icon).
2. Open My Fire TV (or Device & Software).
3. Select Developer Options.
4. Turn ON:

• ADB Debugging (optional, but fine)
• Install unknown apps (or Apps from Unknown Sources)

1. Choose Install unknown apps
2. Turn ON for Downloader (you’ll do this after installing Downloader if it’s not listed yet)

If you don’t see Developer Options:
Settings → My Fire TV → About → select your device name and click 7 times until it says you’re a developer.

2) Install the “Downloader” app

1. From the Fire TV home screen, select Find / Search
2. Search: Downloader
3. Install it (it’s usually the orange icon app)

3) Download your APK using the short code

1. Open Downloader
2. Allow any permission prompts
3. In the URL field, choose one of these options:

Option 1 (short code method in Downloader):

• Select the Browser tab
• Look for a “Short Code” / “Code” entry area (varies by version)
• Enter:  7725380
• Confirm/Go

Option 2 (if your Downloader version only shows a URL box):

• If it has a “Short Code” button/menu, use that
• If it does not, use the web link your team provides for that code (many users keep a backup URL/redirect for the same file)

4) Install the APK

1. After it downloads, Downloader should prompt Install
2. Select Install
3. When complete, choose Done (or Open)

5) (Recommended) Delete the APK file after install

1. Downloader will ask if you want to delete the file
2. Choose Delete → Delete again
   (This saves storage space.)

6) Launch the app

• Home → Your Apps & Channels → find MyStreamVision Direct App

Long press → Move to front (optional)

B) Android TV / Google TV / Chromecast with Google TV

1) Enable unknown sources for Downloader

1. Go to Settings
2. Apps → Security & Restrictions (or Privacy / Security depending on device)
3. Enable Unknown sources (or Install unknown apps)
4. Turn ON for Downloader

2) Install Downloader

1. Open Google Play Store
2. Search Downloader
3. Install

3) Enter the short code + install

1. Open Downloader
2. Enter code 7725380 (or use the code option/menu)
3. Download → Install
4. Delete installer file after (recommended)

C) Android Phone / Tablet

1) Allow unknown app installs

(Exact wording varies by Android version.)

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Security (or Apps → Special access)
3. Find Install unknown apps
4. Turn Allow for the app you’ll use to download (Downloader, Chrome, etc.)

2) Download + install

• If you’re using Downloader, enter 7725380, download, then tap the file to install.
• If using a browser link instead, download the APK, open it, Install.

Common troubleshooting

“App not installed”

• Ensure you downloaded the correct APK for the device architecture (most modern boxes are ARM64).
• Delete the downloaded APK and re-download.
• Make sure you have enough storage (clear a few apps or cache).

“Blocked for your safety” / “Permission denied”

• Re-check Install unknown apps is enabled for Downloader (or your browser).

Downloader can’t find the code option

• Some versions show code entry as a button/menu; others only show a URL field.
  If the code entry option isn’t visible, your best backup is a direct download URL mapped to the same file.

Blank screen / won’t open

• Force stop the app, clear cache:
  Settings → Apps → MyStreamVision Direct App → Force Stop → Clear Cache
• Reboot the device.
